NOTE: Minutes from last meeting have not been voted on and may have errors.

The meeting was opened by President elect, Mark, W3LZK and the pledge was presented.  Members and guests introduced themselves and are as shown on the included sheet.(26)

The president had a short discussion about the installation that will be held  this Saturday, 14^th @ C.J. Cannons.  It was shown by hand that most of those present would be there. The cost was $25 for meal, desert and tip.

The minutes of the previous meeting was read by AB4AZ and a motion by K4JC, Vince to accept and seconded by Ralph, K2KIT. Passed.

Mark, W4POZ gave a Treasurers report and with a starting balance of $1,255.23 and dues, 50/50 and TD checking interest ($.03) the receipts totaled $391.03. There were no disbursements for an end of month balance of $1,646.26. AB4AZ moved to accept  the report and Eric, KF4UJO seconded. Passed

Under Committees……………..

ARES monthly meeting was last night and it went well.

Bud, WA4ASJ, gave us an update on the last VE session. There were three candidates and all passed…one Tech and 2 Generals. VE’s present were KC9GSM, W4PHJ, AF6QH Bob, W4IJY and AB4AZ.  All Extras.  Report included with the minutes.

Sky-warn will plan a tentative Basic and Advance classes.  Scott Spratt, from Melbourne office, will give the classes. Tentative date is 4/12/12.

Wayne, KA1VRF also has CoCoRaHas rain gauges available at the Ace store where he works.

Craig K4CPJ is finishing up with the old “Tales of the Treasure Coast” monthly issues to digital mode and a link should be soon available on the club web page.

Sunshine……none reported except Mark, W3LZK is due to have shoulder surgery.

AB4AZ gave an update on Fred’s equipment (sk N8EFP) and will contact the committee to convene during the evening.

Under New business…..the Pelican Island event will be held on 3/10/12 on the Wabasso Causeway.  1400Z W4OT will be used.

No new business. Note: The E.C.R.B. will be @ the airport for February. A motion to adjourn made by AB4AZ and seconded by K4JC.  The 50/50 was won by W4IJY and he donated it back to the club. ($21)
